EASYJET ADDS 155,000 EXTRA SEATS FROM BELFAST!

EasyJet has today announced that it has added over 155,000 summer seats from Belfast to London, Malaga, Alicante, Faro, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Palma, Ibiza and Split, taking the total number of easyJet seats available from Belfast over the summer season (March 26 – October 28) to over 3 million for the first time ever…

The airline said it “continues to see strong growth at Belfast” and now has a network of 28 destinations including a new service to Dubrovnik which launches on May 14 this year.

EasyJet’s Head of Northern Ireland, Ali Gayward, said: “We’re delighted to be able to cater for this extra demand from our customers in Belfast and in doing so continue our expansion at the Airport.

“We have added a significant number of extra seats which allows us to continue to provide affordable, convenient connections for our customers whether they’re travelling on business or leisure.”

Belfast International Airport Business Development Director Uel Hoey added: “This is excellent news for the Northern Ireland travelling public, as we see our partnership with easyJet yielding a record level of choice for consumers over the incoming summer months. As we enter into a new age of opportunity, developing our domestic and international air network is more important than ever for the benefit of Northern Ireland’s economy and social mobility.”

EasyJet links Belfast with more London airports than any other carrier offering up to 32 flights a day and 180 flights per week between Belfast and London including 14 flights a day between London Gatwick and Belfast with fares starting from £16.99.

EasyJet also connects Belfast the rest of the UK with 11 routes operated throughout the country with up to 500 flights a week between UK airports and Belfast.
